The monthly clinics
specialising in the following disciplines and are based on pressure and release methods.
Natural Horsemanship.
Western riding.
Reining (Roy was the BRHA Rookie Reining champion of 2000).
Trail riding.
General horsemanship.
The techniques used are excellent training for Polo horses and other horse sports as the results produce extremely responsive reactions.
Also on offer are "train the trainer" courses and Roy is expert at taking on and training/rehabilitating horses that may have had the misfortune to be badly trained and are often labelled problematic as a result.
Every horse at Rancho Guadalteba is extremely well cared for and loved as part of the family. When you see Roy with his magnificent Andalucian and American Quarter horses you will understand the expression "a picture paints a thousand words!"
Where are we?
We are based in the picturesque Andalucian countryside 20 minutes from the famous white town "Pueblo blanco" of Ronda. We offer full board accommodation and tailor-made holidays especially for you ranging from long weekends up to a month.
You can book according to your holiday needs and arrive on any day of the week. Free transfers for up to 4 people to and from Malaga airport (within reasonable time frames)
Other activities
Ranch Guadalteba is situated between the natural parks of the Sierra de las Nieves and the Sierra de Grazalema there are a host of outdoor activities in the area.
There are local companies providing walking, road cycling and mountain bike tours as well as general nature and birdwatching.
The route of the white villages (Los Pueblos blancos) passes through nearby towns and villages such as Grazalema, Ronda, Zahara and Setenil and are well worth a visit.
