Quinta de Bispos is delighted to announce that it is the first "Hotel Rural" and the third company in the tourism sector in Portugal to obtain the European Eco-Label. Located on the south slope of the Serra do Caramulo, in Central Portugal, Quinta de Bispos combines quality tourism and gastronomy with ecology in a rural environment where the typical portuguese hospitality stands out. This creates a place of relaxation and luxury, where the guest's comfort and well-being is the focusing point.
 Beside the 16 room country house hotel, the complex of 12 apartments and the “Laranjal” restaurant, Quinta de Bispos offers a wide range of facilities for the guest's enjoyment.

Since Quinta de Bispos has obtained the European Eco-Label, the guests can be sure of the attention and respect given to the environment. A big part of the Quinta's electricity is produced by photovoltaic solar energy, the water and power usage is efficiently monitored, the Quinta uses less damaging chemical products, and only when those products are necessary, the waste produced is reduced to a minimum and adequately managed, and there are many more ecological measures taken. All the personnel has been briefed on ecologically correct procedures. The goal of the European Eco-Label is to help the European consumers choose high-quality ecological and environment-friendly products.
Modern environmentally sustainable technologies are used to regularly evaluate and improve Quinta de Bispos' environmental performance.
To further the Quinta's ecological focus, activities such as walks, horse-riding or cycling tours through the beautiful sceneries of the Serra do Caramulo and its surroundings are actively promoted.
Quinta de Bispos also offers a conference room suited for all kinds of meetings or workshops, and guarantees the privacy and quiet surroundings needed for the success of these kinds of events.
