60 x 60 cm, Oil on board. The aridness of the desert landscape with occassional shrubs and cactus plants made an interesting subject. Scraping dry paint off the palette knife and mixing directly on the canvas was the most appropriate style for this painting. The marks were made quickly and deliberately.
