Help for Listings

How to create a new listing
After logging in with your user name and password click on "Click here to create a new listing"

Title
Add the title of your business (This name displays on the homepage under your thumbnail image and at the top of your main listing page).

Accommodation type
Select the type of accommodation that you offer. If you offer more than one type you can hold done the control key to select multiple accommodation types

Village/town
Name the closest village or town to where you are situated.

Region
Use the drop down box to select your region

Introduction
Keep your introduction to a maximum of 50 words, it will be shown with your first picture on the search results page and the view all listings pages. Therefore it should state the main message of what you are offering in order to catch the viewers interest!

Bedrooms/bathrooms
This is applicable if you are renting a villa, house or apartment.

Activities tick box
Tick the boxes that describe the services YOU offer. Please only services that YOU offer NOT services available in the area by other businesses. If you are offering an accommodation only please just tick the box labelled accommodation with many activities locally.

Other activities available tick box
Tick the boxes for activities that are available in your local area but are not provided by yourself.

Full description
This is where you need to describe your accommodation, activities and surroundings and it will be shown on your main listing page along with your introduction text.The maximum number of words to use here is 500. (It is a good idea to write the description using word or another text editor then copy and paste the text into the full description box).

Press Submit to send to the information to Wildside Holidays. All of these items can be altered at a later date by logging in and clicking on "click here to edit an existing listing"

Images
Images, (max 10) for your listing page. The first image that you choose (number one) will be used for the Random Listing adverts on the Home page and with your introduction text on the View All Listings pages. This displays better when it is of portrait format.

Click on "click here to edit an existing listing"

Click on edit images

Click on the browse button, choose an image from your computer of no more than 200k in file size, click the open button and continue with the other browse buttons. Then upload the images. (Any images that are over 200k will not send.)

If you are having trouble with images then please contact us. We will arrange for you to send us the images you wish to use so that we can prepare and upload them for you. Once they are uploaded you will be able to title and caption them.

Once uploaded, add a short caption (which is always shown with the image). You have to add the title and description one at a time
The more descriptive text with each image will be shown only when a viewer clicks on the picture to enlarge it.

Editing your profile
In this section you are able to adjust your contact details, except for your user name (login).
Click on "click here to edit my profile"
