Guided mountain biking and walking tours in the National Parks of the Algarve and South west Spain. Which include Park Ria Formosa, Vale Do Guadiana and Donana.But don't worry if your not up to it for the full week. We can tailor to your needs.

The Villa

Casa Dos Arcos, is a 200 year old farmhouse, it is nestled in the side of Garcia Hill, overlooking the Serra De Alcaria Hills, located in the Eastern Algarve. It is not overlooked and has an ambience of peace and tranquillity. This is a major cork producing area of the Algarve, and famed for its natural beauty. If you are in pursuit of Portugal then we are ideally situated for walking, mountain biking. The villa is available for rent without activities the price range varies.

All treks and trails include breakfast and packed lunch and bottled water.
Treks and trails come with rating distance and altitudes.
You can choose how easy or how hard.
In 5 days you will trek: Parque Natural Do Vale Do Guadiana, Parque Natural Do Sudoeste Alentejano, Parque Nacional De Donana, Monchique Region and a day local in Parque Natural Da Ria Formosa. Or maybe on the downhill mountain bike track close to the villa.

The nearest town is Sao Bras Alportel, a market town really good to visit on Saturdays when the market is on.

The Ria Formosa National Park is a protected nature reserve and a popular destination for bird lovers, with a wide variety of species to be seen.

The villas immediate area is ideal for long country walks and birdwatching alike, at certain times of the year over 150 species of birds can be observed from the gardens or pool terraces, including the Golden Oriole, Hoopoe, and Bee Eaters.

Tavira, the Algarve’s most picturesque town is situated along this length of the coast. Tavira has its own castle built by the Moors, allowing tourists to observe a superb panoramic view of the city.

Airport-: Casa Dos Arcos is a 30 minute drive from Faro airport.

Beaches-: The nearest beach is Fuzeta beach, 15 minutes drive from the property.

Shops and Supermarkets-: The farmhouse is tucked away and secluded, however it is only a 5 minute drive to the well stocked supermarket just outside Sao Bras De Alportel and further 5 minutes into the town itself, with plenty of cafes, bars and numerous restaurants.
