Introduction: An open plan holiday cottage with private eco-pool and vegetable gardens in a tranquil location just 2 kms from the village of Valor. Las Alpujarras are a well kept Spanish secret at the foothills of the Sierra Nevada and with spectacular scenery plus abundant flora and birdlife they are a paradise for walkers, mountain bikers and nature lovers. Picturesque Pueblos Blancos (white villages) are dotted around the valley with the local market town of Ugijar forming a hub for the local farming community.
Full Description: We have two small casitas situated in 4000 square meters of land, one of which is available to rent for holidays. This open plan casita is surrounded by terracing with fantastic views down the valley to the Sierra de la Contraviersa. A shady outdoor dining area with an earth oven and bbq complements the fully equipped indoor kitchen. The private eco pool situated on the terrace above the house contains no chemicls so is often visited by the local frog population. The vegetable gardens are all organic and you are free to help yourself to whatever is in season. We have no mains electricity and power is provided by solar panels so leave your hairdryer and straighteners at home!! Situated just 2 kms out of the village of Valor it is an easy 30 minute stroll to it's bars, restaurants and shops. Click Here to go to the Website
