Introduction: Finca al-manzil is in the stunning Sierra de Montanchez, a traditional cortijo and barn set in 20 hectares of natural woodland and pasture, within 40kms of 3 world heritage towns, Caceres, Trujillo and Merida. Very versatile accommodation, self-catering or b.and b.in the cortijo for 6 and also 2 barns for 2 or 4 people. Finca al-manzil is special because it is secluded from other houses and people, although not remote, in a world of its own, independent, entirely run on solar power and with mountain water from a deep bore hole. Very comfortable accommodation with beautiful views of the mountain peaks and over the olive groves. Great riding and walking country with ancient paths straight from the finca. A lovely pool set into the rocks of the mountain.Bird watching is exceptional on the finca and the rest of Extremadura. Everything to make a comfortable and interesting holiday.
