Our painting and drawing holidays are under the guidance of professional artists. Courses are available for all abilities in groups of no more than eight students.

Alcala de los Gazules, the small capital town of the Alcornocales Natural Park is right in the centre of the Province of Cadiz between sea and mountain. Alcala de los Gazules awarded ‘Historic- Artistic’ status has 12th century Moorish origins with winding narrow streets, hill top views of miles of uninterrupted beautiful and dramatic scenery.Casa Alcornocales is a large, beautifully restored, 18th century Andalucian town house on the edge of the Alcornocales Natural Park.

The house offers comfort and relaxation; within walking distance are all the modern amenities of Alcala.The house has four twin en-suite bedrooms and sleeps 8 people. It features a lounge, dining room, art studio, kitchen (modern facilities), wood burning stoves and electric panel heating. Outside there is a patio area with splash pool, and two large roof terraces offering breath-taking views of the Alcornocales Natural Park.

The local restaurants and bars offer good value, Andaluz cuisine, which is in the main locally sourced. We are only 30 minutes from the beautiful unspoilt beaches of the Atlantic coast and major towns such as Jerez, Gibraltar and Cadiz; Seville is an hour and a half away.
